Timebank: New Groups, Events & Activities –

1. Free Art Classes – 6 week course commencing soon on a Tuesday afternoon between 2pm and 3.30pm.

All materials will be provided and complete beginners are more than welcome.

2. Cinema Club. Companionship for going to the cinema.

3. Mobile Phone Advice

4. Digital Changeover Advice

5. Cookery Class

Tuesday 9 February 11 am – 1.30 pm. This will include a shared lunch and you will learn how to cook unusual vegetables.

6. Reminiscence Group. Memories of Bath in the 1930’s, 40’s or ’50’s being shared with local school children.

7. Decorating/DIY and Gardening always available.

On a similar note Age Concern: Befriending Service – Age Concern are looking for volunteers for their Befriending Service to help alleviate the sense of loneliness and isolation felt by many older people. By offering regular contact and support volunteers can make a positive impact on an older person’s life
