School uniform

We believe that our uniform promotes a sense of cohesiveness and pride and gives our children a sense of belonging in our school community.

Items of uniform are available from our PTA Shop

One of our parents, Louise Rudall, currently runs the school uniform shop. She is normally avaiable to take orders on Tuesday after school or Friday mornings after morning drop off. People can also fill in an order form which is available in the school office. Payment must by card or cheque and not cash. Second-hand items are also available for a small donation towards PTA funds. Should you require uniform at other times please ask in the office.

Also on this last Friday of the month the PTA also hold a class cake sale.

Items of uniform which do not require the school logo, i.e. trousers, shorts, skirts, can be purchased at very competitive prices form many major supermarkets and department stores.

We have recently updated our school logo and added some new PE kit to our uniform. Our school uniform colour is navy blue with the option of white polo tops and t shirts. It now consists of :

Uniform bearing school logo
blue or white polo shirt
blue sweatshirt
blue fleece

blue skirts/pinafore dress/trousers – girls
summer blue and white checked dress or skirt (we have a few different styles of summer dresses in our PTA uniform shop)
black/grey trousers or shorts – boys

PE kit

white or blue PE t shirt bearing school logo
grey hoodie
tracksuit bottoms or shorts or a skort /leggings

We ask that on the days that the children have their PE lessons they come to school in their PE kit. We have found that this has greatly enhanced the time children have for PE sessions, with no time being wasted changing at the start and end of each session.

black /blue sensible shoes for everyday wear
trainers for PE sessions.
wellies – all children must keep a pair of wellies at school in readiness for the many learning outside the classroom activities undertaken during the school day.

Book bags
As we only have limited space for book bags we ask that ALL children use a school book bag bearing the school logo.

Please ensure that all school clothes, shoes, wellies and your child’s PE kit and school bag are named. We will endeavour to return named items of clothing found at school to the appropriate child and parents are invited to check the Lost Property box (in the yellow trug outside the offices) for lost un-named items. Any un-named items left at the end of each term will be sent to overseas charities.
