Intent

Physical Education is a key part of our vision and ambition of TOTAL LITERACY (emotional, physical, social, musical, spiritual and  intellectual)  for every child.

We work hard together to ensure that our children make continual progress in the development of their powers of mind and body coordination and self-regulation.

Freeing our children to explore continually expanding realms of physical expression and communication: for the good of the themselves, for the good of others; for the pure joy of being fully alive in the moment.

Physical Education

In order to ensure that all of our children enjoy Physical Education provision of the highest, most dynamic and most enjoyable standards we employ an outstanding professional coach, Jade Wozniak, to provide the core of our Physical Education across all year groups.

This Year She has been teaching:

  • Multi-Skills
  • Netball
  • Tag Rugby
  • Athletics

  • Tennis

Children also work with other specialists -throughout the Summer Term 2022 all year groups are working with the brilliant Street Dance teacher, Alex Wollacott, as part of our work on William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream.

Children also participate and compete in sports festivals and tournaments with other schools. This year these have included:

  • Netball
  • Tag-Rugby
  • Cricket
